General Forum question (sorry!)

You earn EXP by being active in forums and that's your level 

Ah OK thanks.  But on the profile page there is another icon that is for EXP. How does that differ if they are both experience?  For example my EXP is 75 but my * is 4?

There's a thumbs up icon at the top left of each topic that has been posted, just to the left of the Read Replies. If people like your topic they click on it and give you an up vote.

The number next to your name is total upvotes you have received for forum posts and is your REP total.

If you look at the top of a forum above the OPs name there is a thumbs up button. If members like your post they can upvote it and you get a REP point. you have 4 REP points so 4 memebers have liked your posts.

OK thanks guys.  I was thinking it was something like that but it's hard to see on my phone.  I have a lot of trouble posting topics sometimes too and other little glitches and so I think the site is not best designed for mobile browsing
