Is there a possibility Alien will build a society?

After the watching new movie I left theater wondering if is there a possibility Aliens will create their own culture, build a society under David's watch?

He tries to tame they, also they use advanced species as pillars of their appearance. So is it possible for Aliens to coexist peacefully with synthetic beings like Walter or David and start to evolve into something their creaters didn't wanted them to be? 

Also I wonder what's David motivation on experimenting with Aliens?
