Did anyone else like or love Alien: Covenant

MemberFacehuggerMay-22-2017 2:41 PMI feel like there's a ton of haters of Alien: Covenant on this forum. It's a movie we've been waiting years for but I feel lots of people were hugely disappointed. I for one absolutely loved the film. I'm definitely excited for a sequel yet I wouldn't mind if this was the last prequel film. I like the Space Jockey being a unsolved mystery. The producers made him less of a mystery with PROMETHEUS and what happened to the Engineers on LV-223. However if this is the last film we see I definitely think it went out on a high note. Did anyone else really like or love the film?

Both of them felt rushed and there just doesn't seem to be enough time to fit in a really good story in the 2 hours of film.
I wish they would make films like this, two parts, imagine how awesome it would be if Prometheus and AC, had two parts, spread over 4 hours each?
I wonder now, having seen AC, what was cut to squeeze it down.
And, like Prometheus, how many good scenes were sacraficed for not-so-good ones.
