I have yet to see the movie, I will see it, I saw some clips of it and I know how it ends...
I think David came into the world, with a good nature and ready to serve and be a companion to Mr. Weyland, but his harshness and objectification in response to David's curiosity started slowly corrupting him instantly. (Like the black goo) I have reason to think that Mr. Weyland and Vickers were unnecessarily abusive to David and that gave him all the reason to carry out revenge and lash out on humanity for the way it is, we got the Xenomorphs out of that.

MemberOvomorphMay-23-2017 7:18 PMI agree. I've always thought that he was "corrupted" by cruelty, not that he is inherently evil, just as many people are products of cruel, abusive childhoods. It makes me wonder what he would have been like if he had lived with someone like Shaw all of his life.
