Collider says no more David in future Alien movies

If David's gone, I am out of the Alien franchise.

haha, but it maybe a good thing that I actually turns out  to me David's creation to monitor the Nostromo's crew. I am the one who wakes them up out of hypersleep.

it may not be a bad idea to take a break from david. I agree that fassbender has been the biggest success so far in the series but if we see too much of him it could spoil things. this may even be the reason the engineers have been held back. if we see less of david in awakening then wel want to see him even more in the following instalment.

I hope that David will be back for at least one more movie. In fact i would like to have him been wiped out by either engineers or more likely by its own precious Xenomorph in a very humiliating way.

The worst possible death for a synthetic is to get stripped of his memory banks and lose his conscious mind little by little, like Hal9000 in "2001 An Space Odyssey".

Im just guessing but I think david will be there till the end. I still think he will make an attempt towards redemption and that will lead to his death. for me id like to see him survive the whole series and we last see him blasting off into the dark.

They could keep David but give him less of a role, I would like that. Their focus on AI is too much and not as interesting as Ridley seems to think that it should be.

Keep the focus on humans and build relatable human characters. They need to be different from one another and they must have distinct human characters and not be archetypes (that is they must have more than two traits).
