MemberOvomorphAug-01-2017 1:49 PMIt makes sense to have Hydrophonic gardens and also seed banks on the Covenant, as Origae-6 might not have a wide variety of food-producing plants. The Covenant may even contain multiple animal embryos, such as chickens, cows and sheep so the colonists would have an ongoing supply of meat.

MemberChestbursterAug-01-2017 2:17 PMLike a real Noah's Ark :) Walter in this scene, as well as the novel, whistles to the plants and Mu/Th/Ur has a funny back and forth with him.

MemberOvomorphAug-01-2017 2:30 PMLawrence of Arabia, That's right, a futuristic Noah's Ark!
The Covenant would have to contain everything that a new Human colony would need or want. That's alot of stuff! The Covenant must have been huge, with multiple warehouses onboard, full of.........stuff!

MemberNeomorphAug-01-2017 2:32 PMship itself may well have been designed to have be stripped apart on landing and its parts designed to be used to help construct homes etc

MemberFacehuggerAug-01-2017 3:19 PMAli, that sounds about right seeing as how the full ship would seem impossible to land on origae6 without breaking up. The hydroponic garden looks dope! May have to read that book/s.

MemberChestbursterAug-01-2017 4:02 PM@Capt Torgo yes you do. If the movie replicated the book exactly, we would've gotten a MUCH better A:C movie. The editors ruined that, however. I think Ridley was trying to tell a different story in a different way but got bored or pushed during the editing stage...
