Well, the Digital Version of Alien Covenant came out today and I have been scanning through the extras and I came across "Advent: See David's experiments through his eyes and dive deeper into Shaw's fate and the nature of the mysterious black ooze"
It is directed as if David is transmitting to the company and wanting to extend an "Olive Branch" to the company. In this video, we are given insight into his lab and Shaw's fate. David explains that he wanted to purge the planet but protested, thus he had be forceful. In the narrative, David wanted to make her immortal, special but she died. He then used her to make his experiments. What is interesting is they cut to the covenant and David explains he now has Lambs and he looks to make his Queen, we then see a shot of Daniel's in cyrosleep...David's hand Bentley touches the tube.
David then sends all the information about the creatures to Weyland-Yutani.
This is interesting.

MemberChestbursterAug-01-2017 4:16 PMSo David did indeed love Shaw but in his own twisted way. I'm pretty sure we aren't going to see Daniels in the next film, at least not as a human. I believe he'll use Daniels to make the Queen ;)

MemberFacehuggerAug-01-2017 4:24 PMThe Advent Video does fill in some answers....and where it is going. It provided more insight into David's end game...to perfect his "Perfect Organism" and I think Daniels will be the queen as well according to what he said in the video.

He wanted to make her immortal? Then why bomb the Engineers, I was living we the impression after Prometheus that they have the answer.
Sorry for me the biggest Idiot in the whole series it's David (not the humans), as an idiotic Prometheus from Greek mythology who stole the fire and not knowing how to use it. Of course he will finally set himself on fire.

I think David is saying that the organism works better with(in) human/engineer tissue, mentions the Engineer ritual (shows picture of Engineer with Giant Face Sucky Thing on it's face, insinuating that the Humans and Engineers as hosts is the perfect way to create the "wolf" has he calls it. And now he's creating the queen. He warns Wayland that "if you do this there will be no turning back. My creatures should be set loose to rule this galaxy"
