Gorgeous video pays homage to art influences in Alien Covenant
This video essay titled "Alien Covenant - Art References" by vimeo user Herrozzy, draws parallels between the cinematic world of "Alien Covenant" and the world or art, hinting at possible influences on the visual composition of several scenes, some of which are more obvious than others. A very well edited work, accompanied by Wagner's Das Rheingold, which ultimately makes you wonder: how much of a better movie Alien Covenant could have been hadn't been burdened down by the need of making it "commercial". Notice that the xenomorph is not featured here, not even in a single frame.
