MemberXenomorphOct-01-2017 11:46 PMIt's beautiful but too perfect, almost like an albino xenomorph. The one in the film was the better choice, more of a Lovecraft feeling, devilish, some raw material for David to craft his perfect organism.
Thanks again for the treat, Ati.

MemberOvomorphOct-02-2017 4:40 AMI love both of them. They wouldn't be out of place in the hive setting of the second movie

MemberTrilobiteOct-02-2017 5:51 AMThis would have worked better instead of the black proto/whatever morph since the other creatures were pale.

MemberDeaconOct-02-2017 6:48 AMI do like the Top Design, but i do think the one in the movie was a great design, as far as the concepts for it... sadly it was not the best on screen CGI though... shame as a better budget could have really made it stand out more.
I like the first one as it has that Deacon like DNA to it, which i believe the Black Goo was obtained from.... however we never know if the other Outposts on LV-223 where David obtained his Juggernaught from had a slightly different version of DNA
As in Alien Engineers the Engineers were working on like 7 versions of Xenomorph like Creations... so maybe each Temple would have a slightly different strain.
And i would like to see a Deacon like Hybrid down the road, and while the Deacon in Prometheus was a Human/Deacon Hybrid i do wonder if the more older versions like the Mural actually look more like the first image shared on the OT

MemberNeomorphOct-02-2017 9:04 AMThe first one is better, the elongated part in the second picture has a shape of a dick. At least the second image follows the style of Giger sort of.

MemberPraetorianOct-02-2017 4:17 PMThank you for your comments, I believe that everyone is right.
These are beautiful concept art images, they would look great on screen. But, I think, it should be admitted that the AC version works better becuse that is so different. Probably the movie makers had the intention to stress that the neo and the proto come from different background.
As for me, I'd like to see a totally different monster in the next Alien movie as well.
