MemberTrilobiteOct-03-2017 11:25 PMI like the neomorph, but the highlighted area always bothers me. It seems like the weight of the elongated part after the skull area would flop around. I know it is nit picky but that's just how it looks to me.

MemberDeaconOct-04-2017 6:47 AMThe whole Neomorph concept is interesting, the way the small opening would open up to reveal these Jaws was interesting... Sadly it was not executed well on Screen.
More time and $$$$ devoted to better CGI or up close Practical Effects and this could have been Fantastic

MemberPraetorianOct-04-2017 4:38 PMdk - Yes, the neo seems to be more vulnerable. However, it would be awesome to see a movie scene where it uses the sharper part of its skull for killing.

MemberPraetorianOct-04-2017 5:22 PMMiscu - You mean how tall a neomorph is? A little bit taller than David in the movie, but the maximum... I don't know.

MemberPraetorianOct-04-2017 5:34 PMAti like how the Deacon bursts from the Engineer in Prometheus?? That was awesome....like a sharks dorsal fin ripping through its chest.. That really hinted at how powerful that morph type could be.

MemberPraetorianOct-04-2017 5:43 PMIRaptus - Yes, exactly! There are so many possibilities and ideas we should see in the movies to come! Imagine a fight scene where a Deacon uses his skull as a weapon. :)

MemberPraetorianOct-04-2017 5:58 PMAti there are indeed! and ones that differ from the xenomorph that we all know and expect.
My favourite (and one I'm exploring in a fanfic) is having the Neomorphs utilise their spore-based reproductive cycle as a weapon. When they die their bodies bloom new spore pods from the cadavar, effectively rendering any new environment they reach as contaminated.

Can't wait. I want an announcement now. :/

MemberNeomorphOct-05-2017 8:32 AMThe long part of the head looks like it would move up an down when the monster runs because a lack of construction of the part between the tail and the head. The elongated part is what I mean when I write tail. I am not sure how they would get it right in the movie without it looking ridiculous. Maybe they would animate it.
The pictures look alright.

MemberTrilobiteOct-05-2017 5:15 PMThoughts_Dreams Agreed as I stated above with the highlighted part. It just looks wrong.
