Explorations of mutations
This mutated specimen appears to be nearing perfection. Investigation of this series of mutations show that the final specimen is within reach.
Movement has become rectilinear, with the appendages attaching to the sternum from the cephalothoras [sic] through the highly flexible pedicel.
The development of the proboscis which appears as an elongated appendage from the head of the creature seems to provide the link missed in previous specimens.

[Chestburster]
Once the entity reaches digestive(?) maturity it cracks the breast plate and emerges(?). The host expires(?) in the process

The entity has altogether lost the use of traditional sight as much as that it shows nothing more than vestiges as optical organs

Oesophagas [sic]
The intricate network of muscles that surround the skull allow for most of the facial movements made by the example detailed below. Connectivity between tissue, muscle and nerve endings provide the creature with movement and touch sensitivity. The level of sensitivity varies between individual beings, though a hive like mind appears to connect them to a common goal.
Having tracked the development of these creatures from their early stages of development it is evident that the evolutionary process is near complete. All further changes on a physical basis will be entirely independent and solely in the interest of survival and the furthering of the species.

MemberChestbursterOct-09-2017 2:20 PMThank you for this Ati :) Very informative, so that insect in the first couple pics was a mote!

MemberPraetorianOct-09-2017 3:42 PMI'm glad you say they are useful.
Yes, the insect-like motes have the same role as the facehuggers: they carry and deliver the eggs/the embryos - with one difference if I know correctly: a facehugger plants only one embryo while the motes have several eggs in their egg-sac as it can be seen in the images as well.

MemberChestbursterOct-09-2017 3:50 PMIt reminds me of Kethol and how he insisted the spores were microscopic insects and it matches up. Really makes me wish they would come out with a book with all of David's drawings and his notes legible. His drawings/notes of the Facehugger, Chestburster, and the Alien head are very interesting and showcases his hard work in perfecting the Perfect Organism.

MemberDeaconOct-09-2017 3:52 PMThanks for the share..
i did come across some explanations on another site the other month but thanks for sharing them here.
It does open us up to exactly what David had been up to all this time, the site i first read translations offered some insight into Davids experiments on Engineer Infants too.

MemberPraetorianOct-09-2017 4:24 PMI have just jumped to a surprising conclusion: Elizabeth was planted by the original facehugger made by the Engineers, so it is very probable that the Derelict eggs are original Engineer eggs. :)
I've made a new post about it.

MemberDeaconOct-09-2017 6:03 PMI will have to invest time reading all the information... and the Novel.
But my conclusion is David experimented with the Neomorph Mote Virus and various Life-forms using the Black Goo to create Hybrids where David used Female Engineers and Child Engineers/Babies for his experiments.
Until he had exhausted those.. and nearly at Perfection.
Then i think He experimented with Dr Shaws Egg Cells to Perfect the Organism, before he then created enough Eggs and then unleashed one of them on Dr Shaw and then Removed it prior to Chest Bursting.

MemberPraetorianOct-10-2017 7:25 AMThank you Ati.
So, it is safe to assume that David 8 can get an alien spore into your system with a panoply of transmission options? These notes are so great.

MemberFacehuggerOct-10-2017 4:49 PMThere is a guy on reddit doing transcripts you should check it out. By combined efforts we could have the whole thing written down.
