'Ridley Scott has made some interesting comments about the direction of the Alien series lately. I share my thoughts on his quote and my opinion on where the franchise is heading.'

My opinion:

Scott says that 'the evolution of the Alien is nearly over'. This sentence does not mean that the evolution of the Alien is over. There is the word 'nearly' in the sentence as well.

Plus I think that 'the evolution of the Alien' refers to the lifecycle, and is not about the franchise in general, so it does not mean that the next movie won't include the creatures.
