MemberFacehuggerOct-21-2017 2:13 PMThanks for the heads up Ati.
I see this is a scam company based in the US that just wants peoples bank details. The casting calls I see from people looking for extras NEVER ask for bank details up front.

MemberFacehuggerOct-21-2017 6:40 PMcare how many people read this, but if at least one person can take on board what I am saying, then all well and good. I am not familiar with the US system of casting calls as I am based in the UK. The entity known as Casting360 is well referenced on the internet and there are numerous articles about them. For legal reasons I would say only this. They are known, they have contact points and there is plenty of information out there for anyone to make a valued decision about them.
On the subject of casting calls, there are lots of internet platforms that allow access for people to become extras in movies. My recommendation as a starting point for anyone would be this. Look at long established publishers in this field. In the UK such publishers would be The Stage. Such publishers provide contacts for agents, etc for those looking for work as extras, all the way up to producers of film and stage.
Most casting calls I see on social media platforms such as Facebook are aimed at those who are involved in performance related circles. This can include security at comic cons through to stage hands at local theatres. In most cases all you have to do is just turn up at the given time. No details need to be given online, just turn up to the meeting event, and that is it, nothing more. For the more ambitious, then I would recommend an agent to take on all enquiries. This does not require money up front as most work on a commission basis. Again, and I stress this DO NOT GIVE OUT BANK DETAILS UPFRONT.
I hope this advice is taken on board by those who read it.
