'David did NOT create the Alien but re-created it according to this theory.'

MemberNeomorphNov-01-2017 7:43 PMWow this guy is cool. Actually he approaches the whole thing as it was a mystery that needs to be solved. I wish Ridley Scott thought in a similar way, but I have the impression he thinks every mystery has been solved already.

MemberPraetorianNov-01-2017 7:51 PMHe is talking about one of Scott's original ideas: the eggs were not created by the SJ species, but found and collected by them, possibly taken away (to Planet 4), etc., etc...

MemberTrilobiteNov-01-2017 8:40 PMI still think it is open to debate since the original idea- as far as I can find- was that the Derelict was atop a place (egg silo) that already had the eggs per Giger design. Just look at a size comparison between the ship and the area where the eggs were.

MemberXenomorphNov-02-2017 2:18 AMHow did the engineers load the eggs into the hold without getting facehugged? And how were they going to use the eggs as weapons: throwing them from the air on another planet? Wouldn't be easier to use the black goo instead?

MemberXenomorphNov-02-2017 2:41 AMAnd the eggs are neatly arranged in the hold, which might indicate they were laid after the crash by the lady who stole the SJ heart.
If the eggs were in the hold before the crash they should have looked like this:
"He survived, he’s now in Disneyland in Orlando, and no way am I going back there. How did he end up in Disneyland? I saw him in Disneyland, Jesus Christ!"

MemberXenomorphNov-02-2017 2:44 AMIf the xenomorph is not totally stupid it might understand there are better chances of survival if the eggs are laid inside the ship, sheltered from the elements and at hand if some curious explorers come to see what happened to the Juggernaut.

MemberFacehuggerNov-02-2017 7:11 AMWhat about the blue light though? It seemed to be a barrier between the atmosphere and the eggs. So it looks like that's what it's purpose is, unless it's just there to keep ANYTHING being transported separated from atmosphere. Then again, with so many different possible storage areas, maybe the blue light was only working on one of the storage areas.

MemberNeomorphNov-03-2017 1:21 AMthe way I look at the space jockey scene in alien the eggs r laid AFTER the crash/landing. the hole in the flood created by acid suggested to me whatever burst from the pilot burned down through the floor yet RS said they were cargo. I would go with the idea the blue mist acted to preserve the eggs or sedate the hugger within during transport but after thousands of years there the effects wore off. it has a function as the only area with blue mist is the area with the eggs. the other storage pens looked empty to me which would explain why this was the only area with the mist as it may have been activated once the eggs had been placed there

MemberChestbursterNov-03-2017 7:54 AMNow, this is a stretch because I really really don't think the team for the next one(s) would go this route. Considering that the original Alien featured such an organic looking ship, what if the Engineers of Lv_223 managed to grow/build the ship around the eggs?

MemberOvomorphNov-25-2017 12:48 AMI relly hope that in future Alien movies we will see Original Xenomorph Hive will go into war with David's Xenomorphs. I support this idea, that David just re-created Xenomorph. Their DNA, whatever they are created by Engineers or not, being used in biological weapon.
My wishes for Yautja waping out USCSS Covenant and leaving us with Original Xenomorphs will never come to life :D
Original Derelict ship could simply carring Eggs as a fuel for Black Goo, maybe even heading to LV-223. As we remember, Original Xenomorph from Alien movie, didn't exactly kill his victims, but placing them in cacoon for future reproduction. While David's Xenomorph kill on sight, without any attempt to create Hive.
Also, i really hope for David to face same fate as Arnaud Eisenberg.
