Animal Casualties of Sci Fi

This one from I am Legend was upsetting

The I am Legend dog scene was devastating as was the "dog" from Riddik.

Equilibrium.

This one narrowly escaped.

Oh yes the Equilibrium puppy. Emotionally charged scene that one. Great film! 

Mad Max's Aussie Cattle Dog... "Dog"

The Fly. Baboon teleportation that does'nt end well. I think this has still got to be high on the gross list when it comes to Scif fi horror.

This little guy from Monkey Shines. 

Batchpool agreed! that baboon scene was definitely messed up and hard to watch!

EDIT:Come to think of it, that whole film was messed up and disturbing. As good as the practical effects were, they were a little too realistic. Good example!

I think the Dog Experiment from The Fly 2 was far worse

That obvious scene in Alien 3

The Beagle who got shot in John Wick although at the end he rescued the Pitbull puppy from dying. 

As a dog owner myself, I get really disturbed if a dog gets hurt. 

Maybe in a future Alien Reboot, we should get a dog equivalent to Jonesy

Awesome example Batchpool. The baboon became tomato soup.

I didn't mind the Monkey Shines casualty dk. He was a little jerk.
