MemberXenomorphMar-07-2018 2:37 AMGerman pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland is devoting a pop-up channel to the most famous alien monster in movie history.
From April 13 to 22, 2018, Sky Cinema Alien HD will show 24 hours per day the eight films with the vicious creature that made its way into cinemas for the first time in 1979.
The highlight will be the German TV premiere of the franchise’s latest production Alien: Covenant on April 15.
Sky Cinema Alien HD will temporarily replace Sky Cinema Hits. All eight films will also be available on mobile devices and on demand through Sky Go, Sky On Demand and Sky Ticket. (https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2018/03/07/alien-pops-up-at-sky-deutschland/)
There are tv channels devoted to the Alien franchise. And still no news about the next one. How come, Disney? Do we have to put billboards out to get your attention?

Looking at how Disney managed the Star Wars, reviving Luke Skywalker and Han Solo and princess Leia, I think they will bring back Ripley too in case they will ever bother to pay for another Alien film. That has to be PG 13 most probably.
I start to feel embarrassed to ask for a new Alien film from Disney...

I think Disney only cares about the cash. They don't give a rat ass about the fans. They want children as audience because every child counts for 2-3 additional tickets sold to parents, grandparents, etc.
But if the Alien franchise is not for Disney's target audience, why not sell it?

I feel your pain, I have to agree with you.
Asking Timothée Chalamet's little finger to play the lead in the next awesome Alien movie seems to be a better idea than creating and using a CGI Ripley, beyond doubt.

I must go further - I hope Ridley Scott sees that his Blade Runner 2049 sequel needs Timothée's face:
