MemberNeomorphOct-02-2018 7:45 AMAs many of you know I'm not very happy about the prequels even though I think that Prometheus is OK but Covenant is a disappointment.
A re-boot or another prequel, what would you like to see in another Alien movie? It could be a sequel to AC, a spin-off or what ever. I would like to see or can imagine a movie about or including:
• The Engineers and or some other related to them and what they are about
• The Xenos or some monsters related to them either some older version or some developed version (like a Xeno 2.0)
• Well developed human characters
• A feeling of paranoia, isolation, panic (think the first three alien movies)
• Maybe some government or far right group that is trying to get the monsters for their own benefit
• Some corporation that is trying the same thing (doesn’t have to be WY)
Forget what has been and try to start something new (new characters, and so on). What would you like a new Alien movie to be?

217 “What’s up?”
2nd “Can’t find captain Branson”,”looks like most of the crew is missing...just these two” pointing at Daniels and Tennessee.
217 “My, my...just what have we been up to..” looking at David, “...Continue searching, I’ll wake one of the crew...”
2nd “Wake the woman..she’s pretty! Been awhile since I had a warm one... ”
217 “...Well... that decides it” , “I’m waking beardie”
2nd man... disappointed...continues his search.
217 wakes Tennessee. He is groggy and vomits. Finally composing himself…
Tennessee “..What is this..”, “Who are you…?” ,Tennessee notices David laying crumpled on the deck, “What have you done to Walter?”
217 “My turn” , “Perhaps you tell me what happened to captain Branson?”, he menaces Tennessee with the pulse rifle
Tennessee still dazed, “Whoa...what..weapons don’t work on..”
217 “Well, this one does…”
Tennessee sizes him....big muscular...crew cut...wearing a nameless hypersleep outfit.
Tennessee “You’re a colonist? How..who.. ?”
217 “Goddammit, you tell me what happened here, or I’ll shoot you and wake the other”
Tennessee glances at Daniel’s unopened chamber
“Okay..okay..let me think a bit...little hazy at the moment..” , ”..uh..Had a storm of some kind...killed the captain, some colonists..umm..got a message..signal...from a planet” , “Can I have some water...kinda dry” 217 stares at him “Uhh guess that’s a no”
Tennessee “Look if I tell you this, you’ll get back to your chamber?”
217 “Yes...now continue…”
Suddenly the 2nd man shouts in his earpiece..
2nd “Jackpot! Holy shit” , “We’re rich!”
217 “What’s that? Where..”
2nd “Colony embryo chamber…...you gotta see this”
217 motions for Tennessee to lead the way…
Tennessee enters the embryo room with 217 in tow. He sizes up the 2nd man. A bit smaller, but not by much. Just as sinister and also holding a pulse rifle.
217 “Take him” 2nd gathers Tennessee, then motions towards the embryo locker. One of the trays is extended.
2nd smiling “Examine it..notice anything?”
217 is speechless. He finds the alien embryo. Knows this is worth more than anything they could ‘ghost’ from the colony.
217 showing Tennessee the embryo “What is this...Where did it come from?!”
Tennessee truthfully declares “Never….never seen that before..must have..” he realizes someone brought that aboard the Covenant…Lope?
217 “Must have what?”
Tennessee “You need to wake Walter...he..he can explain..”
217 “If you don’t tell me...I’m gonna put you in an airlock and play depressurization games…”
Tennessee realizes the colonists are going to find out most of this story when they reach Origae anyway, so....
Tennessee “That signal...I told you about? Came from a system nearby ...captain Oram decided to follow it...We..” Tennessee thinks about his wife..”..visited the planet..the fourth one….using the drop ship...I really don’t..I wasn’t..I stayed on the Covenant….Walter was there...He was on the surface..Dan…” Tennessee decides not to involve Daniels

The guy that was taken away at the end of Alien 3, his name was Morse.

About Tennessee and Daniels, I never understood what their personalities were like (jokers, serious, independent, emotional, rational, and so on). I understood this with Ripley, Hicks, and Clemens let’s say but I never got any idea about most of the characters in AC except for maybe David, Walter and Oram the rest were blank slates and therefore forgettable.
A youtuber (can't remember the name) that I watched a video from said that they had no personalities, I think that he was right.

Alien spaceships trump alien embryos.
Aboard the derelict on LV426, David and Walter playback (holo viewer style, like the tomb sequence in Prometheus, think Engineers running from something) the events of the juggernaut and what happened to the pilot(Space Jockey).

MonsterZero, you're my hero. I'll have to circle back to comment more on your excellent opening and the character hygiene development.
I'd like to see some of the events in Alien: Covenant Origins novel in the next film Thoughts_Dreams. This would show Earth in early 2104 and give depth to the Covenant crew short Walter. Walter has just sentences that mention him in the novel. In addition to this, I wish to see how the Engineers review what happened on LV-223 and Planet 4 and then what they do.
It would be great to see what happens with Walter and if the Covenant ship lands on Planet 4.
