2024 Alien website updates!

Well, it's about that time again with a new Alien film on the horizon and an Alien TV series on the way as well. I've made some much-needed changes to the Alien website. Design-wise, the news and forums have been given a face-lift, forum topics now will change whether or not a topic has an associated banner image with it. Without a banner like this topic, not much changes, but if you do add an image for your topic, this is what topics look like:

Locally hosted Galleries are back! I've begun to organize galleries back on their appropriate domains again. For a time, all image galleries were moved to Scified, but since for security purposes users can only remain logged in on one network site at a time, I figured it would be easier and more appreciated for users if images and galleries were linked, accessible and advertised on the respective network sites they belong to.

So, the galleries are back! The menu bar above has been simplified and additional updates are on the way. But you'll notice, now the Gallery tab doesn't redirect you to Scified, it keeps you here. All Alien related galleries have been organized here instead!

In addition to the galleries being hosted locally again, I've added a Latest Images feed at the foot of ever page, as well as one at the top of the homepage above the News Feed:

With all the content that's expected to flood the internet in the coming months for the new Alien movie and series, I didn't want anyone to miss a beat - so having a constant feed of whats newly added and uploaded is a must to keep you up to speed.

You will also notice the sidebar has been changed, now featuring a list of all Forums hosted on this site, for ease of access. Everything you want is now only 1 click away from any page. 

More updates are in the pipeline, I've been hard at work overhauling the entire network and community websites. With a focus on improved user experience and access to information, this year will see a lot of dramatic changes.
