Xenomorph Warrior Aliens photoshopped to have smooth domes! Better or no?
Stumbled upon this sweet Alien fan art by Rob Benton in this Facebook group, who photosbopped the Warrior Xenomorph from Aliens to edit out the ridged dome in favor of the smooth / clear dome from Alien. I'm more of a fan of the original clear dome - associated with "Drone" Aliens throughout the expanded lore and video games, but the consensus for the ridged domes in Aliens were due to the Xenomorphs age - longer they existed the more ridged their domes became. Not sure if that was an official acknowledgement or something fans came up with, but I've always thought that was a fair explanation.
Either way, I think this looks great:
