Where did you find this quote? You say it was said by Ridley Scott. I would love to know what the source of this quote is, so please tell me.

He also described their role in Prometheus as that of an ancient and advanced civilization, responsible for the creation of humanity. However, he did not use the exact phrase mentioned in your question.
