New Alien: Covenant poster debuts, New trailer lands tomorrow!

Its going to be interesting to see the Marketing Ramp it up a Gear from now on.

This looks great. Definitely different than the egg from the original Alien. Looks like an ampule that has morphed into an egg. The clues are all starting to point to the merging of organic and inorganic material. We shall see!

Why does the egg look so different than the original yet the facehugger in the trailer looks the same?

if the egg was the result of an engineer being morphed by a means that differed to the original concept then it would be different. the engineer may not have been morphed into an egg by a xeno, maybe a neomorph or david used the goo? being an engineer and being made up of the same base dna as humans, it would be reasonable to assume the hugger would be similar if not the same as one from a human subject.

Yeah I think they are playing off of the whole "run and hide" thing. Also, is it just me, or are symbols "carved" into the sides of the egg? 

I'm pretty sure the next poster will be labeled "Fight".  Run, Hide, Fight.

I have also taken note of the human-like spine this vile creature possesses as well the the bladder like body part below the appendages. The part always reminded me a pair of external lungs...

Umm... Why do some of the new posters show a date of 12th May? Has the release date been changed?

It does look like some lucky soles will be getting it a week early, this happened with Prometheus. It was like a ghost ship in here for a week 5 years ago with Europe getting lucky last time!

They took it down on foxmovies.com.   It was up for like an hour.    I'm not sure they meant to post it.     AWESOME TRAILER!!!!   The xeno looks viscious.

Definitely better than the first...   The first half was a lot of footage your already seen.  The second half shows a lot of new stuff.  Action packed.  You get really good shot of the xenomorph.  Basically a close up.

The Egg is different a bit but so is the Face Hugger, slightly different and the Xenomorph on Poster looks a bit different too.

McBride was flying the drop ship with the xeno trying to bust in through the ****pit with its head. Soooooo awesome.  It was pretty terrifying

Bigdave:   It was awesome.   The second half was all action.  The Danny Mcbride scene I described was the end of the trailer.

@salomonj:   The music in the first half was the piano music from the last supper prologue.   The second half didn't have music really.  More eerie sound effects during the action scenes.  don't worry youll like it.

Hey guys - update - I have to ask that we stop spreading this trailer around. Fox just called me and they're loving our enthusiasm but ask that we not leak the trailer any further than it's already gone. It will arrive early tomorrow anyways, so the wait won't be long.

Dark Nebula, I have to ask that we don't email any more copies and that we refrain from posting screenshots. (Of which I have taken many myself... haha)

So that leaked shot we saw earlier was David's workshop, apparently. The face hugger is visible in the ^above^ image, lower left corner. It has many legs. Also, the right half of that shot is taken up by a MORB. 

Go trailer fishing..... 3 of these are in it ;)

Man...  I just watched that thing back to back several times.  Going to wait for the full HD version, but dang...  That GIANT scene with the engineers?  Dang that looks awesome.

I am on this site reading all the time.  I should post more. Apologies.  This new trailer is absolutely fantastic. IT's up on #aliencovenant.  The Xenomorph does not look biomechanical but purely biological.   I bet it will look so good in HD.
