Ingeniero and I Moon Girl: Interestingly, we have to tumble down this hole, which can say something about Dav......umm....just watch.

I Moon Girl LOL! Nice Yoda Back Pack.
I imagine a drowning person wouldn't GAF that his/her life vest looked like a Derelict!
Here is another way to put it. I love a certain song by a certain band. I hear it on the radio and hate it because it gets chopped for time constraints. May not be the best example, but it is true.
Sorry, I don't get what you mean? Is the song "Organizized" in the Taxi Driver video game? I've heard of it and played it a couple times myself.
Hey that's some good work. I'd have never thought something like that existed on earth. Kinda wish his cave/lair was lit better as its so hard to see the detail.
@dk
Nice try dk, but I don't think anyone can do better than the almight YODA BACKPACK (echoing).
I consider that a niche market myself. Maybe not as much as your suggestions, but kind of close. After all, the backpack is VERY small. I'm not sure who could put many books in it. When I was in grade school, students didn't carry books. They were in the class. When I was in high school, we did carry some books home with us. This is more of a high schooler/hip college student product. Yet, a college student couldn't fit many books in it. A high schooler could have trouble too, depending on how many books they need to bring home. High school structure can get confusing.
My first personal sight of one of these backpacks was in college. That was the only one that I ever saw too.
@Ati
I love the picture with the girl on the bike. It has a nice composition. Still, I just cannot ignore that a cop wouldn't be wearing that kind of sexist uniform. I guess we could easily argue over that and come up with our own reasons on why and why not. I've settled on mine. A cop would not dress like that. This is not a very realistic picture in that sense...
I also do like the one below the police picture.
Still, thanks for sharing these inspiring artworks!
As much as I've written about David 8....yes, Lone, I would have to set aside reason to take a ride with him.
Amazing Ati. I hadn't thought of that. They sacrificed themselves for the sake of others. Really amazing Ati. Thank you, over and over.
Prometheus is still providing gifts.
"Organizized", I'm a Taxi Driver fan myself I Moon Girl.
Here is...
@dk
I think that is a proper way to treat the Alien: Franchise. If the people working on A:C want to share more than that, they should appropriately distribute that info within the Alien: Covenant DVD. People should not have to scour the internet to find more information that can lead to a greater understanding of the movie! If it ain't in the movie, it should be ON THE DVD! I would even accept having more information in the movie novel as well, but apparently the people in charge of where that kind of information goes does not respect the fans time. This problem to me has really began with the prequels since the internet has become so common around their time. The people in charge need to get organized! or "Organizized" has the one and only Spider One puts it (it's a band's song).
@Ati
Thanks for the clue Ati. Still, I'm not going to read them because I'm not an avid Alien franchise fan as some people are on this website. Don't get me wrong though, I love the Alien franchise. To me, looking for answers on someone's Instagram just doesn't seem right to me. I'm not saying the answers aren't legit, but it just seems to disorganized for me. All of the information related to everything that is Alien: Covenant SHOULD HAVE been included in a special DVD for someone to always be able to easily reference too and not spread wildly across the internet. It just feels wrong to me. I guess the people involved with Alien: Covenant don't respect our time? I don't mind mysteriousness and breadcrumbs, but this...Tsk tsk... such disorganization. Such a shame when considering all the info that exists and could still exist.
Thanks for the clip! I don't plan on going to Instagram for myself, so I'm glad I got to see some of the proof. Thanks again.
Fatheredcat I agree but I don't think it would be easy.
Nice to know that. I am one of the folks that goes by the movie pretty much. I dabble a bit but I think lowest common denominator. The average fan likely watches the movies and expects the story to be told in that format. I can appreciate the possible depths- that is why I am here- but here is my reality:
A conversation with an Alien franchise fan who only watches movies.
Michon- Hey dk, did you see AC?
dk- Yeah- did you like it?
Michon- It was great, but I didn't understand the flute music scene. I just rolled with it.
dk- Yeah- it is cool you liked the movie and that stuff gets explained if you get on Scified to delve into it.
Michon- Nah- that's ok. I just want to see a good Alien movie. Maybe they should just explain it in the movie.
Data would kick Davids ass! Easy fight.

Yes, that is a real close match to the patterns seen in the rock formation the temple seems to be cut into on Paradise MU/TH/UR.
I concur (volcanic rock) and I believe Sean Fifield would as well.
I feel like this is one of those, well, olive branches, that may not lead to anything in the end. It serves well for those of us who would like Shaw to be alive, especially if we want to create our own in-world stories. I like it, but we'll see how far into these processes that Scott and company can afford to get into with the next film(s), or what more books can do.

We could also check the bottom of the juggernaut to see if it was a red or white stain dk. All joking aside, it does state in the Weyland-Yutani Report that Meredith Vickers is Peter Weyland's only legitimate child.
With all due respect- As Ash asked, "What is the point"?
EDIT:
Your content did not post with the initial post. I see it now. Thanks.
I'm not sure I can handle something this significant right now Ati. I wasn't ready with a witty response. You might need to put a disclaimer on epic reveals such as this. Really great work.
Yes dk. I do agree more of this needs to be in the film. Why not make a Part 1 and Part 2 epic like the classic Ben Hur or Spartacus?
You just confirmed my belief that she was human. I would think a synthetic would have not have panicked like that.
How about a head rest?

Here is a Derelict marketing idea for perhaps a niche demographic:

flying croissants
There is a guy on reddit doing transcripts you should check it out. By combined efforts we could have the whole thing written down.
MonsterZero It should be in the movie proper though imo and not explained away in teasers and supplementary videos or books that the non hard core may never see.
I have no problem with Shaw returning.
David could easily have cloned her?
The original Shaw could be in a hyper sleep chamber deep in the bowels of Planet 4. Just awaiting Walter or someone to awaken her(David stored her for safe keeping...it would be foolish to destroy the original?).
Walter entered the enormous lower temple. Lining the walls were hundreds of sleep chambers, many inhabited by humanoids. He began to examine the state of the chambers when he noticed a smallish humanoid figure occupied one of them. Walter immediately recognized her......Dr. Elizabeth Shaw!
I saw an interview long ago suggesting several Davids at one point. It was also pointed out that RS talks a lot.
Somehow i feel reminded of various "lost plot" interviews from anotha brotha.....
What have i done by calling it "terminator in space"... lol Anyone got some toothpicks?
Elgyn- You can have him when we're off. Not before.
Ati Agree about the possibility. I think it would be the only reasonable way to explain Shaw- or perhaps a clone- to appear again.
Interestingly, it would be a repeat of franchise history- many considered it a lame excuse to justify Resurrection by cloning DNA samples from Alien 3. (I was actually ok with that, so I should re examine my thoughts on Shaw lol).
double post fixed.
dk - I see your points. :)
'I am considering viewers who watched only the movie and didn't dig into supplementary pictures or writings.'
I think he is talking about the drawings shown in the movie for some moments.
'those drawings could have been David's ideas instead of drawings of results. I don't know of definitive proof either way.'
Exactly! And this is the most important factor. The possibility! And he speaks about the possibility as well.
My whole article is about the possibility. It is possible that Shaw will return.
As for my opinion, that would be an awesome surprise from Scott.
Ati Understood. I am considering viewers who watched only the movie and didn't dig into supplementary pictures or writings. Watching only the movie, it seems reasonable to conclude that it was a dead plasicised Shaw on the slab.
Not to disagree with Hatton, but those drawings could have been David's ideas instead of drawings of results.
I don't know of definitive proof either way.
Great stuff as usual bigdave. Hopefully that's the direction they take!
Great stuff as usual bigdave. Hopefully that's the direction they take!
dk - 'there was no evidence or suggestion of Shaw being cloned'
Hatton writes the opposite:
'Same with the different 'conflicting' drawings of Shaw. They could be different Shaws...'
His sentence suggests that, in fact, the drawings are not conflicting because they show different Shaws. More Shaws... More clones...
