Why was this called Alien again? This thing is more of a corporate thriller a la Tom Clancy.
I like however the way Hideo Yutani is portrayed. A totally different brand of CEO than megalomaniac Peter Weyland.
Someone wondered how Yutani took over Weyland Industries. I'd wager with the disappearance of Sir Peter, Weyland Industries lost its genius and driving force wich led to a considerable loss of value wich in turn may have led to an investor exodus. At that point W-I was ripe for a hostile takeover. No conspiracy needed. ;)

It's David pretending to be Walter. He's even seen later, patching up the wounds on his face that Walter gave him when he hit him with the rock. Ridley Scott also confirms it's David, in this podcast: Alien: Covenant Spoiler Special With Sir Ridley Scott
It looks fantastic, I don't want to get too hyped over it just in case but it def looks like it has potential.
Was going to buy it but the reviews are not good. Just as a I imagined.
David just had a frog in his throat when he was lying on the floor. Or was it a couple of encased embryos? Either way, all he had to do was clear his throat.
I can't see David repeating his mistakes. It would probably only take a moment or two to prise out the CPU from an incapacitated Walter to put him well out of action. Maybe if someone re-visited the citadel and plugged his chip back in, we could see Walter again, but a tad unlikely I would suggest.
Manos- The Hands of Fate? Have not seen or even heard of it. A quick google search showed much much hate lol....something about a polygamous satanic cult?? o_0
Did you ever see the film adaptation of Alone in the dark?! Holy Hell! that was the only film I have ever rated a 1.
I think they spent all their budget on the awesome metal soundtrack

The penance is tuning into MST3K and watching perhaps the worst movie ever made: Manos- The Hands of Fate. The crew's heckling helps the bitter pill go down ;)
I will sadly admit to seeing Avatar 4 times at the cinema in 3D, the visuals sucked me in.

Sadly, I neither hear nor see any evidence of Walter appearing again at this point. I really hope to be wrong.

I loved Walter.
Walter gets repaired by a group of returning Engineers, and teams up with them to stop David!
Cue epic space battle, 25ft Space Jockeys, Engy weaponry, multiple faction ship designs, all set in a Gigerverse. Oh I hope, hope, hope!

What an incredible waste of time, money and resources. A massive ego trip, which would have been better served as a CGI cartoon series!

If issues with copyright to be resolved and there will be though some financing, at least donations, a game will be on consoles.
IIapagokc I would be willing to take a graphical hit if it could be on PS 3. The game looks amazing.

Few months before the concept posted here he made another one but for another creature, the "near morse".
I'm now over half way through - I get the sense it's more connected to Blade Runner than Alien!
I hate to say this, but I'm getting a bit bored with the story line now. I just hope the second half is better :(
I choose to believe that Walter's story will continue in Awakenings - I don't think we've seen the last of him.
No. David pretended to be Walter- just watch the ending. Nothing to debate really.
I do feel sad that we don't really know what happened to Walter and probably never will. Walter was good people.

dk He adapted the original novel by Jeff Vandermeer. The author said the movie is great and that it reminded him of "2001: A Space Odyssey". The teaser is trending #1 on youtube, so the interest for this type of sci-fi is still there.
No. Just watched AC again. I don't think Upworth and Ricks were on David's mind at all. At that point in the movie, he was focused on the Morph and trying to pass himself off as Walter.
It can't really suck if it is from the writer of Ex Machina.

Yet more incredible, innovative concepts which lend even more weight to just how disgustingly beautiful this sequel was originally going to be!
What a waste, at the very least we need a tome solely devoted to the unused concepts and David's lab work designs, by all of the artists involved.
It must be incredibly frustrating for Sir Ridders to have had the rug pulled out from under him.
The picture that's gradually been painted for me is that this sequel was going to blow everything else out of the Universe, just as I had expected! So sad.
Please FOX, give my favourite Alien director your fullest support next time round!
This was my video! I never thought anyone would even watch it, and now its on these forums! Just awesome! That said, I do wish I could change some small things in the video. I really just made it in response to all the negative stuff I was hearing in the comments that people didn't like about the prequels, so I did this to see if I could do a story that fixed a list of their (not mine) issues. I would change the part where engineers were made after the Alpha found Humans and used their DNA. I didn't want to retcon anything, and that did unfortunately since they do state that the engineer DNA predated ours. Otherwise, it was a fun story to do in the short time I put it together, and would love to hear any input, or your ideas on making space jockey lore work with engineer lore, other than, they are the same thing. (not that I have a big issue with that) That said, I like the prequels, I enjoy anything Alien for that matter.
To those saying Ricks and Upworth had to caretake the ship: Isn't that Mothers role? She could look after things - No Problem.

Very nice, thanks for sharing this! I wish the Juggernaut interior would have been explored more, the massive practical sets weren't really emphasized as much I thought they would be.
