The Prometheus flute scene was insensitive to both the visually and hearing impaired communities. LOL- just had to throw it in there!

That was really good. Pretty creepy. I could see a bit of Isolation and even a shade of old school Silent Hill style mindset at the beginning. Nicely done!

As seen in Alien Covenant David was one skilled flute player. And there must have been a specific tune to activate the controls of the ship. Like a hymn or a romantic access code to a specific time and place.

If David had later on played the flute to the last surviving engineer instead of using words he might have had a better fate :)

never got the flute scene in Prometheus. don't get why a ship so advanced would be flute activated. voice activated I get so no unauthorised person can activate the ship but anyone can play the flute as David shows. pretty pointless to me

Yes, the A3 crew was pretty bald!

A tv series would totally cremate the xenomorph and dilute the alien universe. I don't expect anything better than Alien Resurrection or Stargate featuring engineers. 

But I watched again Alien and really want to see how Ridley Scott would link the prequels to it. If they make this film I don't need anything more.

personally, I was gutted when RS changed his mind from straight alien prequel to something that would start a series that would tie into alien at the end. iv read the Jon Spaights script n it is an awesome read. however, personally, I think the right decision was made. for its character flaws (Charlize Theron being completely mis-cast), Prometheus does exactly what a first in a series movie should do, raise questions n tease answers. for me, what was missing from the Spaights script should have made it into Alien Covenant. imagine a scene where David allows the face hugger to crawl over him in the egg chamber before it latches on to Oram etc n u get a much better movie.

And 2 more:

I think based at a human colony on some distant world and done in a similar way to falling skies but its engineers or a more ruthless race above the engineers using an older, more controllable version of the xeno to wipe us out. would also def need to see more creatures

The flute symbolizes the voice of gods in some mythologies and if the ship was voice activated the flute playing makes sense. It is the metaphorical "reposition of the intonation" as seen by Ridley Scott.

Alien covenant a new addition in the alien series although the story line shows what happen before first alien movie i have loved the movie and the most important thing the visual appearance was excellent Best Assignment Writer.

I pretty much thought Holloway was generally a dick. He deserved David's wrath but sort of redeemed himself by asking to be flamed by Vickers- but he deserved it.

It seems that the Engineer in one of the previous photos I showcased is Steve Doyle.

Some other people that played Engineers were Scott James and Benjamin Taylor.

I suppose that the little engineer behind BoZ is Benjamin Taylor since Benjamin's IMDB bio says that he is 4'11".

Holloway had a shit script to work with and done what he could considering the acting level he is at. The whole rose scene, in fact that whole part. Then the way he is with david - we csnt say maybe robot is the new white , black , brownvto hate.... might just be culture. otherwise he got himself killed for nothing

There was a lot of various concepts, some i felt were well Poor lol

some where interesting, and its nice they had taken on board some of Carlos Huantes Designs. some of these designs do seem similar to the description passed onto me regarding the appearance of one of the Monsters in the movie way back from early 2015, its nice to see Huante hopes to see the Ultramorph one day, which is what the other Monster was described as... but we got the Neomorph and Fleshy Xenomorph instead.
