I wanted to do a couple of these shorts just to tie into smaller segments reviewed by Michael Bishop and the two Bishop APs that are with him. I'm not a sci-fi writer, toy maker, nor graphics artist (obvious)...so the end product with be edited down to the best I can do at minimal animation and stills alongside the captured film portions. I still have a couple of planets to cover events on Michael Bishop's trip (LV-426 and Fury 161) before he arrives with the Yutani Commandos. 

Motivation

The reason for telling the story from my end is that I believe I have a reasonable explanation regarding Bishop's involvement in how the eggs got on the Sulaco EEV without miracles or multiple Bishop trips from the surface.

That will be the last part, Act II, when Michael Bishop starts asking the broken Bishop about his activities. Outside of the short pieces on LV-223, LV-426, Planet 4/Paradise, and Fiorina/Fury 161, the end two act film should be about 20 minutes.

I used the battle damaged Engineer's face for the Sacrificial Engineer because one side was burnt black and matched the pathogen lines on the Engineer's skin. The final product will have some differences but I wanted the NECA to stand out and I tried to mask or erase any regular face shown in the clips or stills.

I haven't watched a Bond movie since Goldeneye.

So let me see if I have got this right, The Soldier universe has visual links to the Alien universe and Blade Runner universe. OK, I think I’ve got that. Now the Predator universe is linked to the Alien universe (AVP) and judging from the instrumentation in the derelict ship in Predators, I want to know if at some point we will ever see the Krell from Forbidden Planet?

Ingeniero - It is suggested at the end of Blade Runner 2049 that the story would leave Earth in a sequel. I would like to see that space movie very much. Would it be a Prometheus prequel? Sounds interesting...

It's an interesting fact that the writer of Blade Runner and Soldier claims that these movies are in the same universe. I don't claim anything...

Great news Ati. I know they are looking past the theater distribution towards streaming and Blue-Ray sales so I hope they put together a Blade Runner sequel again soon.

As for Star Wars - The Phantom Menace, we can see Indiana Jones in one of the podracing scenes:

This short can be a prequel to Alien! There were people in the silo before the landing of the Derelict. Or we see another chamber of the silo...

Or there was another manned mission to LV-426 before the events of Alien...

Another crew on the moon before the arrival of the Nostromo. Their mission failed so they redirected Nostromo to look for them... Nostromo was their Plan B. This idea could work in an Alien prequel I think...

what if she dies in Blomkamp's movie as well? I agree her character had to come to an end n if AR had never been made I would have been fine with how the character went out. IF we get Blomkamp's film then why not keep an open mind n after wev seen it, make our minds up. remember u don't have to watch it again if u don't like it and ul always have alien3

to me, going down the AI route just smacks of a lack of imagination for the prequels. its a lazy, easy plot that really anyone could have done. AI has a place within the franchise no doubt as 2 of the best loved characters were synthetic, sorry, 'artificial person' so it makes sense to have David. but im not watching alien coz Iv watched Blade Runner 5000 times and want more AI in my life. I watch alien because of the beast, the facehugger and the continuous efforts the company makes to get its hands on it and since Prometheus, I want to see the expanded universe teased by that film. but hey ho, Fox has obviously sent RS special order 666, stay in budget, get it made as fast as possible and make us tons of cash. all other priorities rescinded. fans and franchise expendable.

In the scene where K visits Gaff at the retirement home, the latter says about Deckard that he is retired (in both Hungarian and English, to be clear for the audience) meaning he is a dead replicant. To accentuate he also tells about Deckard's eye problem (in the first movie that single shot in which Deckard has that glowing thing in his eye making him replicant). 

If this is does not convince you, ok....nowhere in the movie it is stated clearly, however.

Ali81: They can keep Alien 3 as the official version I am fine with it but keep Alien 5 like a what if this did not happen but do not retcon Alien3, that is what I am saying. I would still like Alien 3 to be the official ending for Ripley because I like that ending for the character.

LMAO! There are so many good ones, I can't pick a favorite.

I don't believe alien5 is in any way intended to trash anything. what was said was basically u will always have alien3 and AR but, this is how I would have gone with it from aliens and if u don't like it, u have those other films. a lot of people didn't like the fact that one of the most popular characters in aliens was killed off. I for 1 don't care either way as I like alien3 but its always interesting to see what someone else would have done. if it is done right then people will like the movie for what it is and hey, u have another alien movie to watch so win win right?

Ali81: I don't know either, maybe a lot of the ideas that he has for another Alien movie are so crappy so it would be better if he stayed away from it and focus on the Bladerrunner thing, that is how I read the headline or how I would put it even though that is probably not what the content of the article says (LOL!) The black goo is interesting more of that.
