the pregnancy idea is from an image of a belly growing and other shoots .... btw there is that image of ( probably noomi ) a woman falling on her knees and she is full of blood like someone tried to kill her ... ( 0.5% hypotesis ) is also true that she can have the bruises after being hit by the dust cloud .

Ok, I see where people are getting that idea, but I don't think that's what it is. There's no growing belly, just a woman lying down in pain. It looks like the same scene where Shaw says "Please!" from the trailer. This reminds me of when The Dark Knight trailer came out and it had the scene where the Joker drops Rachel out the window. I thought Rachel would die from falling out of a window (I read somewhere before that she died in the movie). Turns out that wasn't the case. Now, with all this speculation and wild guessing, can't we just wait and see what they have in store for us? And hopefully, it's something a little more elegant than a dumb zombie-like crew mutation movie.

maybe Holloway gets infected through the acid on his face. Noomi gets bashed up a bit somehow. Gets comforted by Holloway - They have sex, She becomes impregnated by Holloway. She wakes up and goes into that room and collapses infront of the crew like we saw in the trailer. Holloway becomes that mutant guy at some point maybe? Just an idea

Anyone else notice the horizontal objects in the SJ chair room? They look like cryo/ sleep chambers for something big. They have a visor at the head and everything. I don't think the distressed pregnant woman is Shaw or Vickers. Wasn't there a Comic-Con pic of a woman with almost black eyes? Looks like the same person.

Theron did mention how exhausted she was from the running in the sand with Noomi (check the "Theron and Lindelof" thread I posted yesterday)..so those 2 are gonna be survivors I think....well they will make it to the 3rd act at least....tho who knows when the ship crashes....maybe it happens near the beginning of the movie....in a trailer nothing necessarily happens in a chronological sequence.

Ridley has stated many times that the final 8 minutes will tie into Alien - the derelict ship is that tie, so yeah Vickers and Shaw probably will survive, or maybe not.

the space ship can fall after it was hit or exploded in the sky ( or she can fall from his vertical position ) i dont think anyway they show a final sequence of a movie . i pretty sure that the woman who cry "pleaase" is noomi ...

My thought is that is close to the last shot of the movie and we never see what is born. Maybe a facehugger? Maybe she pushes out an egg lol What if they make Shaw a birth machine?

The person being blown up into the air is Shaw. She picks the bag up just before being hit with the "burst" or whatever that is. When the 5 people enter the room, with the first two firing pistols- is it just me or is the person right behind them looking quite a bit mutated. Could just be refraction of the visor I guess... And those red lasers in the beginning in the ampule room- they look to be coming from objects moving around in there. The man standing seems awfully "wowed" by what's there. Not sure that's just some form of scanner or not. And WOW can Theron rock that escape suit or what?

I wouldn't mind If we see something in passing in her ultrasound that looks like a facehugger but the movie ends before it is shown. Kinda think that last scene would be neat. They may be forcing her to bring it to term and some nefarious persons may be telling her to push and then it fades to black and you hear an unearthly scream of a mother terrified of the abomination she has given birth to. Credits roll. We are left to assume because of the next movie that the survivors didn't get to bring it back to Earth but instead it killed them all.

snorkelbottom, do you think that they will show scenes from the final 8 minutes in the trailer or that the whole sequence(ship blowing up, crashing, characters running for their life, plus denouncement will take place in only 8 minutes? (i don't say this with sarcasm and hostility, only disagreement) i think maybe scott was being vague. maybe related to alien as in the actual alien/facehugger shows up. maybe as someone else pointed out, a chest busting finale.

@ Snorkelbottom seriously?.... would u be disappointed if a zeno popped up it's nasty head somewhere in the movie? ....i won't be...but it has to look different from the xeno's we know....some kinda earlier link in their chain of evolution...something that at least resembles a zeno...but in the end... it's fine by me if they don't show up....tho Ridley better make up for it.....i don't necessarily want another monster movie....but just at least some element of that!

i dont think he will leave a finale " up in the air" ...it is not ridley scott ...he always gave a definitive endings to his movies ... otherwise we will have an ending just to feed a few geeks for years while the other 95% of viewers would remain with a "meh" on the face . I think he will give a good or bad ending ( but with some reward ) but with a motivation and a solid link to alien
