Ive speculated for years,but I think the rape thing is the best outcome,or at least the alien introduced some of its dna to transform her? That theory of gene manipulation seems to be playing some part in prometheus story leaks? what are your thoughts?

but in alien you see ripley entering the hangar where you see parker dead and the feet of lambert so maybe rape but not cacooned... so the aliens have some kind of reproductive system? if there is rape there is sexual intercouse.... or not just guessing!

Was'nt it said that the creatures in this movie do "very perverse things" or has that been thrown out? It does appear and sound like Lambert was raped in Alien.

It seems to bein a college room with fat teens with their fingers in the nose talking about nude women mating with gorillas .

I've found those who call people derogatory names and make snide remarks simply because they don't like to hear intelligent adults discussing sex usually are the ones that have the mentality of a child and hence are more prone to have their fingers up their noses. You know you've found a severe case of mental deficiency If they somehow find a way to work in an insult about someones weight into their objections instead of laying out even the most rudimentary evidence to support their argument.

Actually my response to Frantz was a tongue in cheek joke. He also made a snide remark on one of my topics that happened to be about sex too. He usually pepers his response with insults. He is free to do so and I am free to respond. The last time I just joked it off but here I decided to stand up and turn the tables. Lighten up. It has already been said over and over again by Scott and others that this movie will not have any direct connection to any of the characters in the original film. Just wait until this amazing thing is released and enjoy the entirely new story.

yes miser indeed a new story but with the unique alien atmosphere don't you agree? if we guide ourselves by the trailer ... that's what we'll see ...

...I actually heard about two male crew members ....getting it on as part of some alien experiment...but it was quite some time ago....maybe it was a false statement....or who knows....but I think it is save to say that this movie is gonna stir a little bit of controversy...weather it be about alien sex or religious opinions....personally I can't wait for it....

Later, I always assumed she got cacooned in that same room Dallas did in the extended edition deleted scene.

Miser, i was thinking about that before, they did mention there are no connection to the characters in Alien, which is totally normal since the story is 30 yrs bfore Alien. About Lambert, well lets ask Veronica Cartwright herself. Actually i think theres a short video on youtube by someone asking that question from the actress..

Guys, Yeah, that is actually fan art from AVPGalaxy that was done back in June or July. That's why I was saying its a Spoof and not the real thing. I would have bought into it 100% if it hadn't had the predator cannon on its shoulder. Regards, Rick

Hi, There were articles floating about that Ridley was considering working on a Prometheus sequel after Blade Runner. There was talk of even tying the sequel into the original Alien, but this is speculation since we don't know if this is the "true" Prequel. This is how they're probably justifying this not being a Prequel to Alien but of the same universe they're going to make sequels and kind of do an end around of the original franchise or a parallel storyline. I think if Prometheus is a boom in the box office there will be a few years and we'll see one, without a doubt. Regards, Rick

Even when he was young Scott never did sequels to his great movies ... Alien ,Bladerunner and the gladiator too ...i think it will be even more difficult now at 74 and with another big enterprise like doing the sequel of bladerunner already scheduled . Is not much a matter of age ( kurosawa and Antonioni directed until very late ) but is more a matter of willing and the "fear" to do something not at the same level .

I hope that he makes more. Well depending if it is good or not. I swear that around a year ago when Ridley announced that this Alien prequel was going to be called Prometheus he said that it would be its own "grand mythology". Also it was mentioned around the time before it was titled "Paradise" that there would be two films. I could've been dreaming though or ate some paint chips. Also Ridley did state at comic con that he was ready to make the sequel to Damon Lindenof at the panel. So we'll see. Hopefully this movie meet our expectations and they can make this a universe that we want more of. I mean just knowing that another Avatar movie is on the horizon makes my male pattern baldness kick into full effect.
