IT"S NOT FOR "THE PROFUNDIS"! He just replied to my comment.
"The Profundis" looks good but as someone stated on AVPGalaxy "seems very independent, as they are still working on finding backing."
Another God particle movie? I meant the one in the "Cloverfield" universe. But this "Profundis" thing looks interesting too.
This doesn't make any sense:

God Particle? Annihilation? He says it's not Avatar2 nor Aquaman... Vague about this being Alien art...
Translucent skin seems very tell-tale.
Lots of creatures....... say as in say 2000 of them ;-)
Pacific Rim 2 : "On March 30, 2017, filming was completed." We already have a teaser trailer and the movie is set to be released on March 23, 2018.
Pretty sure it's not for PR2.
here's another fascinating article answering some of your questions.
Bloody hell, check out the webbed victims part. Terrifying!!!
Pretty sure PR2 is already in post production
I am guessing that is for Pacific Rim 2.

I think it already started. :D
Ati Thanks. Correction: Tallerico must not have watched the trailers as they were dolled out like we did.
Technically Ebert still never watched them heh heh!
dk - The article was written by Brian Tallerico, Ebert died some years ago.
he def did a great job given the restraints he found himself under. no script for starters mustv sent his alarm bells going but credit to him he did a great job
dk - 'intentionally drawn to mess with Ati's mind' - That's an expensive hobby! :D
Fincher would be an interesting choice. Hopefully he isn't angry about the whole A3 mess anymore. I thought he did a great job.
check this one as well!!
Original plot ideas for Alien 3. not just the wooden planet one...
I remember reading the Anchorpoint script ages ago.. Written by a Cyberpunk author. It wasn't great.
Apparently Alien meets Blade Runner was very nearly a thing!!
Fincher is one of my favourite directors. He should have directed a 4th Alien movie, not the 3rd one...
Total reject- so he says........and so the conspiracies and rumors begin!
I think it was intentionally drawn to mess with Ati's mind!
They sort of look like molars.
I know, for it to have been the original concept and we never see it in any detail.
spirit_light_speed nice!
god damn it, how close do we keep coming to a canon eggmorphing only to have it removed last minute gaah!
Ingeniero - First I had thought something similar then I asked myself: 'Does that facehugger have six pairs of legs?' So I don't know...

I'm glad you like them.
If I'm not mistaken the creator of them is the owner of the site http://clarasworldofwonders.tumblr.com.
Cosmonaut-Copper - *be right back learning japanese* - Such an easy language! :D
drucea - '...and that David can hack into ships and setellites apparently.' - That's an important piece of information. I think they will use that fact.
BigDave - 'So the Novel follows the earlier drafts more where Weyland is not on the ship?'
The translated Prometheus lines from the previous post show that Weyland is/was on the ship:
'Everything from the bridge to the alcove had been flipped and tossed about. In fact, Weyland and Ford’s bodies had been thrown into the hallway.'
cuponator3000 - Japanese letters are always cool. :)
Bishop "death" sort of....
was an excellent juxtaposition for female penetration with Ripley and Queen grappling over the impaled Bishop...that was mighty epic too and symbolic of the typical sexual perversion themes throughout the franchise

BURKE's demise was entirely satisfying, especially the deleted scene of him cocooned with a chestburster inside him. Ripley showed him little mercy either.
I am actually in the middle of watching the bonus dvd of alien3 and they made no mention of visiting Giger. it seemed pretty early on that due to time restriction, the relationship between fox and Giger was at an all time low. Giger himse;f states he was faxing his concepts to the studio. but it would have been cool to see a cocoon scene
@I Moon Girl yep, I agree. So much potential in the ideas there. But there is hope we get more and more and more over time, even through sanctioned and "canonized" books as well as movies. If Star Wars can control all their books, the someone can certainly somehow exercise licensing and control of the "Alien" universe in order to "obey all the rules" and to keep continuity.
ALWAYS order my stuff online. Always have, even back to the early days of the 90's when Amazon and lots of other DVD stores like DVDplanet, etc were booming.
Needs to be sooner rather than later, for everyone's benefit, but especially the franchise's.
Unnecessary and "video game"-ish if u ask me.
Timmy the ultramorph As for the neomorph, it made what sounded like clicking noises and I wondered if that hinted at echolocation. Likely not though.
UPDATE: Found some info... have a go:

spirit_light_speed You could be right- the movie was so plagued with issues it was almost surprising to come out all. I think the movie gets better with age.
Two years seems to be a respectable amount of time to wait.
Someone feel free to jump in here but I believe Fincher was going to transform the assembly hall set into a cocoon chamber (and Ripley et al we're supposed to come across the superintendent and a few other prisoners - either transforming into eggs or plastered to the walls - waiting hosts for birth of the queen). FOX pulled the plug on the idea because it would have been too expensive... it was either in the script or in the novel as well (that I honestly can't remember).
Would have made a great scene - and for the record, I LOVE Alien 3... my favorite in the entire franchise. Yeah, I'm one of those guys. Fiorina for life :D
Yeah was not a fan of the Xeno POV, any of them really, they were too easy and similar to ours.
