It's official – Alien: Earth Season 2 is coming! As we previously reported after the finale of Alien: Earth season 1, a second season is officially on the way! As of tonight, it has been confirmed via Deadline that FX and Disney have renewed Noah Hawley's Xenomorph TV series for a second season! Noah Hawley is returning as showrunner for Season 2 and obviously, the surviving cast of Season 1 will also be returning to continue the story of the Lost Boys and their obedient Xenomorph companions.

FX Chairman John Landgraf had this to say about Noah Hawley and the next season of Alien: Earth:
Noah never stops surprising us with truly original stories— and his unique ability to bring them to vibrant life as a director and producer as well as writer makes him extraordinary. We can’t wait to get to work on the next season of Alien: Earth, as well as some equally exciting future projects in advanced development.
The next season is expected to enter production soon with filming beginning in London next year! As new details surface, we'll be sure to keep you updated!
