Sandra Yi Sencindiver has been officially cast in Noah Hawley's Alien prequel TV series for FX according to a fresh report by Deadline Hollywood! Furthermore the outlet confirms Sandra will be playing the role of a senior member of the Weyland-Yutani corporation. Her character's role in the series seems to be a rather important one with potential for her role to remain prominent beyond the series' first season:

We understand that Sencindiver appears in multiple eps and will play a senior member of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. We hear there’s scope for the character to grow in future series. - Deadline
The Alien TV series takes place before Prometheus and the original Alien films, separated from Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus and will be an "imaginative reimagining" of the franchise... It takes place predominantly on Earth roughly 70 years in the future from today and will introduce a rival corporation known as the Prodigy Corporation which specialize in Human-to-Synthetic transhumanism research. The series aims to tackle some big concepts including the blending of technology and biological matter, Alien origins and climate change.
The series is currently filming in Thailand. Expected to arrive sometime early next year, the series will stream exclusively on Hulu.
