A short teaser trailer clip for Noah Hawley's upcoming Alien: Earth TV series for FX on Hulu has revealed some new plot details which help make sense of the Earth setting and timeline! The clip was shared as part of a 2025 preview reel for upcoming Disney+ projects.
While the cutscenes don't offer much by way of any spoilers, it's the voice overlay that reveals the most intriguing information. The voice overlay speaks: "This ship... collected specimens... from a far away moon... Monsters". Sounding very akin to Michael Fassbender's David (it's not), we suspect the voice is that of a Synthetic with information on the hostile cargo "this ship" is carrying. Check out the clip below:
Prior to this clip, footage for Alien: Earth was shown at the D3 Brazil convention, where it was revealed the series takes place in the year 2120 and will mark the first instance a Xenomorph makes its way to Earth.
As new details are revealed, we'll keep you posted!
