It appears the iconic M41A Pulse Rifle which was first introduced to Alien lore by James Cameron's sequel Aliens will be making a comeback in the Alien: Earth TV series! Spotted in two separate frames in the latest Alien: Earth trailer, the gun being wielded is unmistakably the M41A, with some slight modifications for some of the reconnaissance soldiers:

The M41A Pulse Rifle was a staple of the US Colonial Marine Corps in Alien lore. An advanced version of the weapon, the F44AA Pulse Rifle was introduced in Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus.
