One early idea for the Offspring Alien's final form in Alien: Romulus would have seen the lanky Engineer-like hybrid transform from Humanoid being to a full-fledged Xenomorph! No, we're not joking! Concept creature artist Dane Hallett just shared some early VFX renderings of this one particular idea, frame by frame detailing the stages of transformation from Offspring to Xenomorph - check it out:
