Absolutely LOVE the directors cut of the first, now extremely high rated and classic film.

MemberOvomorph11/6/2011The first I heard of this was a comment, idol gossip mostly, that it was going to be a remake of the original movie, to say I was opposed to such a remake was putting it lightly. Not I read on a few sites and reports that is going to be a new movie, non of the original cast members / characters will feature in it, that's good news anyways.
As for any ideas or speculation from my end, I would like to see some modified version of the books that proved to be exceptionally worthy follow ups to the film and the Philip K Dick novel. As long as Scot is a the helm, has no interference from studio, as was the case with the first, we should get a movie as visually stunning and deep as the first.

MemberOvomorph11/10/2011I understand also that Scott is to direct a film adaptation of The Forever War. That guy is going to be busy!

MemberOvomorph11/10/2011I have a feeling he is going to be in the forefront over the next few years, and if he is going to be doing more Sci-Fi, then so much the better, he is just so dam good at that.

MemberOvomorph12/8/2011Anyone remember Soldier? Kurt russel getting paid a bunch of money to say about 10 words? That was supposed to be in the Blade runner unvierse but not a direct sequel or prequel.. lets hope prometheus doesn't turn out the same ;)
