Could there be a Dynamic “Space Jockey” Duo running “the show” in PROMETHEUS?

Back in Jaunuary of this year, a source revealed to that one of the characters in Prometheus is simply referred to as 'Engineer 1' (currently not listed on IMDB). Rumor had it that this character would be played by a tall athletic person, and done entirely in CGI…via motion capture.
This story seems to be backed up by CastingCallPro's list, which revealed two characters of special interest.
Casted: 'The Engineer' played by Darwin Shaw, and 'Elder Engineer' played by Matthew Rook.
Looking at their past resumes, it seems both actors specialize in stunt acting. Darwin Shaw's resume on IMDBpro states martial arts, boxing and combat as some of his athletic skills.
There's been a lot of speculation as to who, or even what, this 'Engineer' may be.
While some fans believe it's a new name for the Space Jockey, seen in the original 'Alien', others believe it's something new altogether...
OKAY…HOW ‘BOUT THIS POSSIBILITY...?
This is really nothing, but just a personal hunch…maybe: The Space Jockey(s) or “Engineer” beings in PROMETHEUS, are two beings from a humanoid or super-humanoid, technologically advanced culture. They are “Planet Engineers” who have been sent on one of many similar missions of a genetic/creative research and development nature. Perhaps there have been many or multiple “Derelict” type vessels dispatched from a Space Jockey abode or territory with a crew of 2, an Elder Engineer or Engineer 1…and another (since 2 are rumored to be cast). It seems reasonable to me, that a rational race would send a crew of at least 2…for safety reasons…and to ensure relative success.
It is also possible that one of the Space Jockey/Engineer(s) is a type of android…might explain the mechanical look of the strange figure shown in the recently released trailer. In a recent interview, Ridley Scott did mention that there could possibly be a second android (other than Fassbender’s “David”)…at least that’s what he said. Any way you slice it…I think that humanoid figure is an “unsuited” Space Jockey…for better or worse.
Whether or not the “Engineers” are benign or hostile…is any one’s guess. Or perhaps one of the “Engineers/SJs and its ship crashes on planet X…and the second has to attempt to complete the mission with the familiar “Derelict ship” from the original ALIEN…and departs/escapes near the end of the film(…eventually to arrive on LV-426/Acheron off screen).
It is also possible that one of the “Engineers” will become infected, impregnated or compromised…and give some kind of birth to a version of the lethal “Xenomorph” creature we all know and love…to hate. I personally would still love to see the Big Daddy Alien Xenomorph that could come forth from a Space Jockey/Engineer.
I suppose it all depends on Scotts interpretation of his now famous, cryptic and punny “DNA” statement.
Whatta y’all think?
