MemberOvomorph12/26/2011What I think is that with the Prometheus Trailer we were all just spoon fed exactly what it was that Scott wanted us spoon fed with.
That we cannot even imagine how EVIL and DARK some of what we are going to see in this thing is !!!

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011I agree Spartacus! Ridley Scott is far from a stupid Director ha. He has purposely put in the scenes he wanted the public to see. He will defo not be giving all his secrets away!

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Makes me so excited "Drogie21", and is your name a small tribute to "A Clockwork Orange" by any chance?, I loved that film so very much, it was Most INTELLIGENT.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011This part was so true....
"And it’s possible that both trailers are similar in what they DON’T show us. Except for the aforementioned face hugger, the “Alien" trailer doesn’t show us any xenomorphs at all. The “Prometheus” trailer doesn’t show us any of those either, or any other extraterrestrial creatures to speak of (except for the Space Jockey head, or helmet, which shows up at 0:34 on an operating table). But we all know that “Alien” featured one of the most famous and magnificent movie monsters of all time — the trailer just didn’t show it to us. So does that mean the “Prometheus” trailer is hiding a scary monster from us as well?"

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Alex's gang was made up of himself...and his little "Droogies" !!!
LMAO.

drogie21
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Was it???? Been ages since I've seen it! Better get back talking about Prometheus now!

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Scott is laughing his ass off right now at everyone's reaction to things and thinking to himself,
"Self...wait till they see what I brung 'em" !!!

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Yeah that actually crossed my mind! What's the feedback? There coming up with some interesting stories lol.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011He's probably rubbing Bengay all over himself drinking a four loko and working on the other films he has promised.

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Thank you Frantz, "You Rock bro".

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Good article. There are actually a LOT of similarities. Charlize running down a corridor clicked for me instantly. It's also interesting that the flamethrowers remind me of Aliens. The scene with Hollow on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands reminds me of Alien 3.

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011"Flamethrowers", Me Too, Instantly, Or anything big and yellow that looks like a caterpillar or like a Power Loader !!!

Gigeresque
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Yep Spart that too. Definitely! I REALLY have faith in Ridley. There will be something for everyone and it all will be kick ass.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011I think Peometheus looks like the Betty from AR. Hmmm interesting...in Resurrection Ripley made a joke about the ship being older than her. OMG...could it be?!

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Man, I loved that name, I loved that ship, and when anyone mentions that film the first thing I think of is how much I want "Guns Up My Frikkin' Sleeves". !!!

Gigeresque
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011I liked it. At that point the series was getting a little old. It threw some new twits in. I had a promo T-shirt that was long sleeved with the Betty logo on it and a numer 8 printed on the arm. It died though. I miss that shirt.

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011why not post a couple of comparison pics?

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Close but not the same I'm afraid. It was a really cool ship. There is always the possibility that Tidley told them to make it look like the Betty. I believe he is just that good.

Spartacus
MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Close is pretty good no? Looks like you were pretty observant their, there seem to be a lot of similarities. It Even Looks like they may have used the same parts to create it behind the scenes.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Mine was a little different though. It had the logo big on the front. I bet Ridley blended qualities from all the movies perfectly. I can't wait.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011And Alien Ressurection was on the upper back. It was my favorite shirt.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Thanks. If I hadn't worn and washed it so much I'd still have it. LOL
