From the 3rd image, we can see those tubes sprouting out of the creature's back which is very reminiscent of our favorite Xenomorphs.

I know the head is different but that 3rd picture reminds me of the Queen alien. I know there are more differences than just the head.

nice artwork indeed. i like the image where our good old SJ is picking up or planting an xenomorph egg. I really wonder how that SJ in ALIEN got victimized by a facehugger / chestburster.

Also in the 2nd pic if you look at the SJ's fingers they are fused together just like the xeno in Alien.

Scott has said the SJ in Alien is in a space suit and it stands to reason that if the movie Prometheus is about exploring our origins then our so called creators would be humanoid.

Those images kick ass. If only we were seeing something truly alien like these images as opposed to a humanoid in a "suit". That whole "suit" concept has me deeply worried, and as a huge Alien fan of 33 years........disapointed. With CGI technology we could have really gone to town on a truly "alien" and bizzare race of creatures. Don't get me wrong, I hope the story really works and I will come out of the cinema with my mind blown, but.........

great art work.. just one detail, in originall ALIEN you can CLEARLY see that strange trunk is grown together with the ribcage and the ribcage/back is one piece with the seat.

Oh; I've been looking for the picture at the bottom of the OP. Days ago when I looked for it, it lead to some red-X, and I thought at one point it was taken down by Fox.
