IN THE BEGINING

That shot of the waterfall seems, to me anyway, to suggest the Engineers terra-forming and bio-engineering the very young Earth. The ship, although looking like an archetypal "flying saucer", it would indicate a conventional construction method, metal bashing, which a few hundred million years ago would be cutting edge for that time period in their history/evolution. Coming forward, the "Engineers" now grow what they want, hence the organic bio-mech. engineering, featuring nonlinear, functional shapes. In the way our scientist create synthetic bacteria for specific jobs, cleaning pollutants, producing deisel-fuel or goats to produce spider silk from their milk, the "Engineers" grow a spacehip, a warrior, a scientist or whatever they want or need. I dont think the "Space Jockeys" are the "Engineers", just a product of their creators, as are we to be portrayed. I'm sorry if this is repeating anything but we really do need that new trailer.
