MemberOvomorph02/4/2012Has any one else noticed the Easter egg in Alien and Blade runner?
There are a couple of images that appear on the Nostromo's flight computer/screen when they are making their descent down to the planet!!
The same image appears on the flight computer/screen of the of the police vehicle that is taking Deckard to the police HQ early in the movie.
Here's a really random theory...Deckard and Ripley are from the same universe and same timeline and the software on the Nostromo and police car are a standard navigational package!!! may be only one software giant supplying every one....
Yeah I know Ridley probably just wanted to save a few Bucks on SFX...

MemberOvomorph02/4/2012Ya I have heard or read somewhere that Scott considers Alien and Bladerunner takes place in the same universe. Not sure if that was intended at the time the films were made though.
Maybe we'll get Deckard hunting an Alien that thinks he's human in another film. Lol

MemberOvomorph02/4/2012The graphic is fully intended for the Nostromo detaching from the refinery. I remember seeing on either the Blade Runner or Alien special featues that if the graphic is left to play in full, it shows a topdown outline view of the Nostromo moving downwards.
