My first post, so please be gentle :-)
Can I ask people if they remember the same thing I do?
In ALIEN, just as the search party see the first glimpse of the derilict, in a side facing shot Kane says "What the **** is that?"
This has been _noticeably_ cut from the film because the sound seems funny.
To back this up, I used to own (yeah, I regret it now) a copy of this book:-

and I distinctly remember seeing the writing for this moment underneath one of the photos.
Can anyone (who has a special cut of the film, or the Movie Novel book) confirm this please?

MemberOvomorphMar-10-2012 5:49 PMI have just bought this book again, and alas it does not show the line I thought it said... perhaps I was imagining it - but the sound certainly does cut in and seem odd when they go back from Ash to the side shot of the 3 looking at the derelict...
