Comment I didn't know about Alien Ending and it was true

I've recently read that Ridley wanted a much darker ending where the Alien bites off Ripley's head in the escape shuttle, sits in her chair and begins speaking in her voice a message back to Earth. Can you imagine what those FX would look like?!?
