in Prometheus the logo for Wayland industries is a w w, then after they merge with Yutana it becomes an Egyptian marking, then sometime in-between alien in aliens, it was changed back into a W, now yellow with an interlocking Y, so why the Egyptian logo for that short period?

yes, i know that the W with the Y from aliens was supposed to be in alien but scott wanted the Egyptian one, i am talking about a cannon reason not a film production reason.
