Alien Rights to Jon Landau

The idea of this thread is simple... I want every member on these forums to post their support. What for? That the Alien rights currently held by Brandywine Productions should be given, not sold, given to Jon Landau of 20th Century Fox. Why? Because Brandywine Productions (AKA Gordon Carroll, David Giler and Walter Hill) screwed over Dan O'Bannon, the creator, to get the rights and then profited of the Alien by turning it into a cash-cow. They made O'Bannons and Ridleys life hell on Alien, then did again to Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd on Aliens, ordered Fincher (in his first ever film) to write a script for Alien 3 with a release date and pre-built sets before re-editing it themselves, they allowed Alien Resurrection to happen despite their dislike for the idea and then turned the AVP's into generic genre movies to make more cash. Brandywine Productions NEED to go! But... Before they do they NEED to apologize to the late, great Dan O'Bannon and the fans for their plagaurism and their greed regards this franchise!

And he is the only one that has apologized to Fincher for the way he was treated on Alien 3

Sparty, I think you're thinking of Landis, John Landis. He directed the Twilight Zone film. I worked with him briefly at Universal, FL shortly thereafter. He was still very shook up.
