Signaling what is to come?

I fixed the link....
As you can see on the globe, the lights have spread down more toward the Pacific...as if it is branching out more...

and up into Russia as well...which was not before...pretty interesting, these could be new investors or Weyland Corp spreading across the globe....though from space, I would imagine you can see these lights on the dark side.

@Cain1977: That's very observant! I'll have to keep tabs on the globe from now on. Hopefully this means that our registration as investors will be rewarded soon!

Thanks...I was there glancing and noticed more lights on the earth model. I believe we will be rewarded for our partner ship very soon...

Very Cool Cain1977! Good find. They certainly are keeping us all glued to this site...!

I think as the 17th draws closer, we are going to see more activity take place on the Weyland site...

Me and Klaatu and apparently one other person are the only Australian lights on that map :-D

"Is it dead this time?" "I dunno, poke it with this stick and see."

As careful/thoughtful as they're being about the Weyland website, does anyone else think the positioning of the earth and in particular the countries (or oceans) being seen, have a significance?

Boy, they sure are expendng a lot of energy sucking all of us into this whole thing aren't they?, damn those suits. lol.

@Cain1977,
Nice catch. I'm considering making an animated GIF to see how the globe changes over time. I'll probably take a screenshot every 2-3 hours. Don't want to get too crazy with it.
@db,
The first thing I thought after I read your comment and then looked at the globe is that the lights along East and Southeast Asia roughly follow the outline of the Ring of Fire. But of course, there are lights elsewhere on the globe (India, Russia, Australia, etc.)
The globe is somewhat centered on the Philippines. There are supposedly 12 "vile vortices" around the world--locations associated with mysterious disappearances--one being the Bermuda Triangle. Another is the Devil's Sea, located in the northeast Philippine Sea.
And then the globe is shown in half light, half shadow. Interpret how you will.
Okay, my comments are rambling. A sign of too much coffee. Incidentally, whatever happens in Prometheus, we'll be okay, because there's someone I know who can quite literally save the universe.

Fall down seven times, get up eight.

@jones: an animated gif of the city lights would be awesome! Please consider undertaking this project!
