MemberOvomorphMar-09-2012 10:01 PMHi all, well, it is possible that this has already been discussed earlier in this forum, but anyway I mean I've been thinking that the crew of the Prometheus comes face to face with the demons, that is the Gods were killed or died out long ago.

I believe that millions of years before there was a war, a rebellion of angels, a race divided by the thirst for power. Maybe a part of the race of Gods wanted to go too far with their experiments disobeying all his caste.the winners were the bad guys, infected and possessed by their own biotechnology, in this case the god against the machine. The biomechanical evil monsters are under a kind of lethargy of millions of years in capsules of freeze waiting for your next victims to continue their sadistic experiments. They are the ones who now controls the paradise!

Perhaps the biotechnology is the evil, the monster, the suit...

If ever there were demons, the biomechanical nature of the alien and its life cycle would fit the bill. I hope Ridley and the writers take us on a ride that explains in detail the distant past and how everything came to be. As you remind us, Ridley did say that this would be an epic ride. Nice pics by the way.
@anyone else... This whole forum is full of speculation and assumption by a large group of self proclaimed experts of the alien universe. Let's all keep an open mind to other opinions and just keep on dreaming about the possible storyline. Enjoy various creative thoughts as we wait for future trailers and evenually the film itself.

MemberOvomorphMar-10-2012 12:29 AM@ Nrlfetmefan, yes, I think just like you that this movie will have a lot of concepts such as: biological war, metaphors of Prometheus, the gods, the paradise, ancient astronauts, the tyrannical human faction (Weyland) and terror personified by the Monsters . I think it will be really epic and very dark at the same time.

There may have been pitiful human uprisings against their creators but other humans sided with the SJ's i.e. seat of power / pharoh's would deal with them traitors.
There could be divides in the Space Jockey race but I don't think we will be seeing tales of morality excuse the pun but it does not suit them.
Good Jockey Bad Jockey tales are not going to happen just like good xeno bad xeno (again excuse the pun) thank god did not happen.
Although you may have a point because Prometheus was afterall a god who stole the gift of fire and gave it to man and was punished for doing so by another god. But that again is not WAR which is fundamentally different but I think the meaning of prometheus is morte about Weylands perception of himself as a god and this is again after the ancient pharohs creation 3000BC ... greek mythology after technological advancement 750BC

MemberOvomorphMar-12-2012 1:15 AM@Ronster Well, perhaps the war is not 100% possible in Prometheus, but I think I would do mmuy epic. But Mr Scott mentioned at some point about biological warfare, but may be in the direction of the biological weapon or monster that possibly we will see in Prometheus.
