MemberOvomorphMar-12-2012 10:12 PMSo, some time before there was the news of Prometheus I was watching Aliens and joking with a freind that a company on the scale of Weyland-Yutani already exists, Wal-Mart. I was gonna mess around with the original logo a bit, but just never got around to it. But with the recent image at the at end of the TED talk, it was pretty easy. Plus, the whole "Building Better Worlds", I mean c'mon tell me that doesn't sound like something Wal-Mart would say? Enjoy.

MemberOvomorphMar-12-2012 10:20 PMOh man....that's hilarious. I wish I could remember the thread, but Ripley Clone 8 and I were going back and forth awhile back about "Weyland Corp., subsidiary of the Wal-Mart Corporation....Building Better Worlds for Better Wal-Marts the universe over". I'll try to find the thread and and post a link..............great minds think alike man...awesome.....nice logo by the way.

MemberOvomorphMar-13-2012 12:20 PMhaha thanks. but i truly believe that if wal-mart continues growing on this massive global scale that sooner or later they will diversify into some potentially scary stuff. i don't love wal-mart, but i'm not a wal-mart hater either. i am merely observing a company or rather "the company" that may "save us money so we can live better" so that they may "build better worlds". and who knows in the future, what measures they may employ in order to maintain their size and in effect, power?

MemberOvomorphMar-15-2012 1:31 AMWalmart apparently bought Weyland-Yutani between A3 and A:R, so you might be on to something.
