MemberOvomorphMar-14-2012 6:05 PMAll the human mutation that we are seeing in the trailer and teaser trailer has left me wondering could the Aliens that we are so familiar with in alien and aliens have originated from the Promethius crew?
Could the space jockeys be the creators of worlds / Gods and created the beginning of our end from our own bodies. It would relate to H R gigers work the mutation. The new alien in the film is also said to be perverse in nature.

MemberOvomorphMar-14-2012 6:59 PMI suspect that the eggs / xeno or whichever came first.... are some kind of accidental contamination of a mechanical process with organic material. or vice versa. However saying that, it is hard to predict as the xenomorph process is quite weird.
Whether or not the contamination is human, I am not so sure. It is possible that the xeno in Alien was the first of its kind. Is this the first time that the lifeform has been introduced to a human host when Kane is infected? What do the company know and what incantation of the xeno have they already seen? So many questions...
Its hard to say at this point and possible that this film will not even attempt to directly explain the origins of the xeno anyway.

I think it is one stage further though. Ampule > Human > mutant human > human / Space Jockey > mutant impregnates human > eggs > Alien
