I can't hold my tongue any longer about....this...rape talk. I think ridley has more taste and class than to even imply that a huge humanoid alien would have forcible sexual intercourse with a character in the movie, let alone have that horrible image shown on screen. This isn't some bullshit horror movie like 'The hills have eyes' or some twisted anime porn cartoon.

I agree with you Eight-Five....Holloway and Shaw have a relationship, clear by the trailer, they sleep with each, post infection on Holloway...no physical signs that can be noticed by other crew members..yet, unknowingly to Shaw, she has been impregnated, I highly doubt they have condoms on the Prometheus...but Shaw trust him, she loves him....He infects her, even he does not know... He later mutates into probably what see in the trailer, the humanoid hovering over Shaw is probably Holloway...i willingly to bet that...

thanks cain1977 you have confirmed my suspicions. Holloway gets infected as clearly shown in trailer when he's looking in the mirror at his eyes. The only question is did he alone choose to sleep with Shaw or does the parasite/infection have something to do with it. come on 1st of June

@casey, Yes, I do understand that concept with the facehugger. It's part of why they came up with it in the first place...body horror. But, rape, sexual...penis in vagina along with violence...that's something else altogether. It's not something that I see Ridley would feel needs to be in his film. I'm all for visceral imagery in showing the hostility of reality in space, but I think a scene like that would be overkill and do more harm than good for the film. I don't mean to bring this up, but the movie 'Predators' sucked and when the inmate guy says, "if i make it off this planet, I'm gonna rape me some bitches"...that was just fucking stupid and completely uncalled for. Just my thoughts...you could be right, a lot of people think the alien raped lambert before it killed her. :/

I seriously doubt that there will be an SJ/human rape scene, but short of that, I do expect some very freaky, rather shocking, psychosexual body-horror.

I too would seriously doubt (especially since this is not PG13 territory) that any alien rape happens in this film (except at a genetic level). The very idea would probably get laughed off the screen as did the mammoth alien maggot rape scene in "[b]Galaxy of Terror[/b]" !
