Based on recent classified findings by Weyland researchers, the company determines the exact coordinates of a new destination for long-time pet project: Project Prometheus. New round of investment is immediately opened and mission planning enters full-swing. Here we go....started in 2073.

Interesting, "the exact coordinates of a new destination for a long time pet project". So much to take in today... this is all so overwhelmingly awesome. This tells me Weyland's been looking for something for a while, but in 2073 something, or someone comes along that allows him to determine some new coordinates where what he's searching for might be found.
