Too much information!

I was trying so hard not to watch the new trailer, but as soon as I could I logged on to view it...I hate myself for doing it now! I feel the trailer just reveals too much of the plot; I feel I know the beginning and the end, I know the main protagonists and what they are doing and why. It's just some of the detail that is missing. The trailer is geared towards new fans, not us who like to unpick every still and know the background. I really hope I haven't spoilt the experience for me; there's nothing more thrilling then going into a movie not knowing what to expect...I wish I could control my addiction to these boards and the internet!! lol

Huh ....i did watch Alien no less than 100 times ...so i think it didnt made a great difference for me to know the plot or not . And i pretty sure that we havent saw many important things yet ...and are 1) all the last act of the movie 2) the Peter Weyland role 3) david role 4) vickers role 5) halloway role 6) why the SJs want to destroy humans 7) the final monster ( if there is any , but of course there must be a final fight )

We pretty much knew the main protagonists and their role long before this trailer, so I don't think it spoiled anything. Regarding the monsters except the SJ there were no other full scale monsters seen in the trailer. I'm sure we'll see much more in the movie.

I still wish they had left parts out, I think it gives away too many plot points.....still loving it though

I concur, a while ago I was craving new info. And having not seen enough new footage. Bbuut after this passed weekend, we've seen almost too much. Too much has been revealed and we still have another two and half months to go. What else will we see in the coming weeks. I have to learn self control and not give into temptation lol

I honestly much 1 minute ten trailer released this past weekend, rather then the full 2:30 trailer. It's short reveals absolutely no plot points whatsoever and completely fucks your mind. The full trailer did reveal a touch more then I wnted to know before actually going to the theater to see it
